Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Mexico District Accounting Team to ensure local and corporate books compliance with law regulations and norms.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (BS, IS, CF and SoCE) – Including segmented and statutory with notes.
• Internal and external financial audit management.
• Compliance of RNIE and INEGI reporting.
• Cashflow analysis, control and improvements.
• Month and year end closing and reporting, including information for tax (SIPRED / DISIF / Transfer Pricing)

  L and Cost validation JOR (Job operating report) and books reconciliation and explanations.

• Assist and advise when facing atypical transactions in order to propose the correct accounting treatment.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting related activities.
• Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) knowledge with demonstrable strong understanding of variety of accounting transactions. USGAAP (desired).
• Statutory and Internal Financial Statements preparation and Internal and External Audit Management experience.
• Monthly / Annual closing process, with experience in internal control improvements
• SAP and MS Excel knowledge. Contpaq i (desired), MS Access (desired).
• Fluency in Business English and Spanish.
