External Sales Representative

The External Sales Representative (ESR) will work closely with the Commercial Manager in regard to day-to-day development and execution of the sales strategy at Essentra Components to drive revenue and sales growth. ESR will act as the liaison between the company and the customer, responsible for creating long-term, trusting relationships, develop existing business and actively seek new sales opportunities. SR will utilize customer, product and industry specific knowledge to engage and grow customer base.
SKILLS (non-negotiable talent)
1. Communication – verbal and written;
2. Impeccable personal integrity and ethics;

5. Negotiation;
6. 3 years minimum field sales experience;
7. BA/BS in Engineering or related field preferred;
8. English –basic verbal communication (be able to exchange information verbally);
9. Continuously seeks ways to improve;
10. Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES (work he/she going to love)
1. Visit and phone call customers;
2. Manage sales opportunities (Pipeline) and Leads/Prospects using CRM CE;
3. Follow upon samples and quotations internally (Essentra) and externally (Customers);
4. Report annual sales forecast, with monthly and weekly updates;
5. Apply annual price increases – or when required by Essentra;
6. Report sales activity by month – or when required by Manager.
OUTCOMES (results he/she will deeply care or want to produce)
1. Deliver revenue growth planned;
2. Increase the number of new customers;
3. Improve cross selling;
4. Positive curve of sales pipeline velocity;
5. Hassle free service to customers – improve NPS score.
