Marketing Associate

We are looking for a young, energetic go-getter who has a background in both content writing and graphic design. In a single day, this person could write, design and post a blog;
create and schedule social media posts;
draft copy for websites, emails, and sales material;
and create light graphics. The successful candidate will have worked in a corporate environment for 1-2 years, will be creative, and have a bold and engaging writing and graphics design style that appeals to executives. The ideal candidate will have incredible attention to detail, be inquisitive and will get excited about promoting senior living communities to people in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

Qualifications for Success

• Strong written and communication skills with the ability to translate minimal copy requirements into beautiful prose (final candidates may complete a real-time writing exercise)
• Experience interviewing subject matter experts and crafting compelling, copy that moves someone to action
• Strong written and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Experience using Adobe or Canva products to design social media posts, sales collateral, presentations, and more
• Self-starter with ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strategic and creative thinker who thrives on project collaboration
• Willingness to double check and deliver quality work with zero defects at all times;
  mistakes reflect poorlyon the agency and our clients

Your Day-to-Day

• Craft social media posts (copy and graphics) and schedule releases
• Write a company blog, website copy or email marketing/newsletter copy
• Design a graphic for a client project;
  sort graphics;
  drop approved copy into an existing website design
• Collaborate on a client design project
• Manage multiple projects at a time

• • Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media Marketing, or equivalent business experience
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience writing content in a B2C environment
  • Work samples that show a variety of writing styles from social media posts to 1,000 word documents
  • Working experience with graphic design software including Canva or the Adobe suite ( Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Innovative creative thinker with a variety of creative outlets
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to deliver error-free designs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, ask questions and present ideas
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
