Nam Procurement Mts Cluster Director

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Cluster Director ensures management of the relation between the purchasing organization and the plant/s in order to reach the plant and overall organization’s purchasing objectives.

What will you do?

Productivity

·Ensures team remains trusted and accountable, with the Procurement Sourcing Leads (PSL), for the material productivity of the plant.

·Ensures effective monitoring of the negotiation actions and their results.

·Supports thePPMs and PSLs for the management of technical and supplier change actions (identification and progress) with escalationprocess within the purchasing function and/or the plant.

·Ensures identification, with the PPMs and PSLs, of new actions to reach the targets in term of productivity by lever

·Ensures right level of support to have accuracy offorecasted savingsby challengingPPMs and PSLs – ensuring always that maintenance is being performedand to make it match the P&
L reality.

·Provide leadership and ensuring accountable, with the monthly reconciliation committee (PPM, financial controller and PSL, for consistency of productivity inforecast and in actuals.

Supplier Management

·Enables support for Plant Quality &
Managers on supplier performance for critical cases, in internal escalation process after SQME &
SSCME’s implications

·Provides leadership to the PPM and PSL teams to have them actively participates in the monthly Supplier Performance Meeting with the Plant.

·Provides leadership support with escalations related to short and middle term Quality &
Logistic risks coming from supplier market.

Supplier Market

·Makes sure that the Supplier Orientation Charts exist and are shared with the Plant.

·Supports the PPM and PSL teams to informs the Plant about supplier market significant changes and warns the Plant if risks are identified.

Qualifications

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent required
• 8+ years of experience in Procurement / Sourcing and Project Management including good working relationship with the supplier base, desired
• 5 years as a director or senior manager on procurement area.
• Successful procurement or supply chain people leadership strongly preferred
• Strong people leadership skills, ability to achieve results and develop talent through coaching and mentorship
• Demonstrated ability to provide appropriate level of sense of urgency given the circumstances
• Executive presence and ability to effective communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in English required
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturing process, desired
• Supply chain knowledge (supplier management, cost analysis, market analysis, inventory management, etc.
• Must be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. SAP experience and database management skills desired
• Result oriented, resourceful and dedicated to driving continuous improvement
• Other skills/experience desired:
  category expertise, financial accumen, quality knowledge and project management
