National Accounts Product Solutions Director

Location:
This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint location.

As part of CHB Product Solutions, the Employer Strategy &
Solutions organization is committed to enabling our segments and markets grow membership and earnings through Elevance Health’s relationship with employers.

The National Accounts Product Solutions Director will represent an important role within our organization;
and lead some of our most important growth initiatives for the business. The role is responsible for serving as the enterprise SME for the team and responsible for defining, building, and operationalizing go-to-market plans to ensure readiness for products, network and digital features.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Contribute to product solutions management and strategy for:
Total Health Connections and Partner Solutions

Partner with ANA sales and account management to proactively identify market trends and support segment growth initiatives.

Develop competitive strategies across product solutions and serve as the point of strategic accountability for ANA Product.

Provide Product Solutions organization with insights from ANA to ensure product solutions are aligned with segment strategies.

Provide ANA with insights from Product Solutions organization;
solution updates, portfolio activity, and investment decisions.

Partner with product managers to achieve superior execution of product strategy in the segment

Contribute to client/consultant RFP responses

Present Anthem solution strategy, either across all products or for a specific solution family, at client or consultant meetings

Create Anthem responses to competitor activity in the segment, i.E. sell-against and competitive differentiation

Creation of business cases to secure investment for key priorities

Partner with our Carelon businesses on growth initiatives focused within the segment

Work closely across growth partners (marketing, underwriting, pricing, sales effectiveness) to effectively support product growth initiatives for ANA.

Requires a BA/BS degree;
7+ years of National/Large account experience in healthcare;
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

MBA preferred.

Experience and knowledge in healthcare product management supporting National Accounts preferred.

Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas:
Product Development, Product Strategy, Sales, Market Strategy, Market Research, or Consulting preferred.

Deep understanding of market trends and developments in large employer commercial segments preferred.

Knowledge of commercial customers and customer needs in the segments preferred.

Strong working knowledge or experience managing Advocacy solutions preferred.

Strong understanding of market-leading practices, competitive intelligence, and cutting-edge innovation in the market preferred.

Experience in negotiating and/or working with solution vendors preferred.

Experience in building strong internal and external relationships with key teams/stakeholders preferred.

Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties preferred.

Experience interacting confidently with senior management, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making preferred.

Mastery of Microsoft Office products, most notably Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word preferred.

Strong understanding of cost levers, including network and plan design strategies preferred.

Experience building partnership and influencing at an executive level preferred.

Deep understanding of market trends and developments in National Accounts and/or large employer space preferred.

Experience in negotiating and/or working with solution vendors preferred.

Knowledge of commercial customers and customer needs in the segments preferred.

Strong understanding of market-leading practices, competitive intelligence, and cutting-edge innovation in the market preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $138,264 to $217,272.
