PROJECT MANAGER
Main responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate solid technical knowledge and business acumen, possess strong knowledge of project development processes and/or SDLC, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities may evolve as the organizational strategy evolves. Candidates must be able to thrive in ambiguity and be responsible for the following:
oManage several concurrent projects successfully
oManage project deliverables including technical solution, implementation, support, and quality. Understand and participate in multiple phases of project implementations
oCollaborate with Portfolio teams, Application Owners, Enterprise Architecture, and various IT and business teams to prioritize work and schedules
oReview project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to standards/regulatory requirements
oInteract with customers to understand their business and to respond to their needs based on business and technical knowledge. Educate and influence others including project sponsors, other project managers, and project team resources
oDefine and execute project plans and report project status, issues, progress, budget, etc. to the appropriate service owners/management including project review meetings and dashboards
Experience preferred in Infraestructure, Networking or Cyber
Requirements and skills
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5+ years of technical experience including 5+ years of project leadership
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- SCM Scrum Certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of project development/implementation processes.
- Solid presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and influencing skills.
- Proven track record on successfully delivering projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle and project management processes.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation and business acumen skills,
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
