In Media.Monks MX we're looking for a Social Strategist who will play a pivotal role as the dedicated social specialist responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our client’s social media strategies, while connecting with what’s happening in culture. On a monthly basis, they will help to establish social content strategies for always-on content with brand objectives and target audience in mind. As the expert in social platforms, they are able to identify cultural trends and content opportunities, social tactics and platform strategies that resonate with our target audience, leveraging their deep understanding of how to effectively utilize each platform's unique features and algorithms to drive engagement and brand growth. Similarly for Incremental/Product Launches, the social strategist will be able to build an effective content plan that defines key messaging and platform strategy to drive marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop social content strategies, based on the understanding of the client's brand message, voice, objectives, social platforms, and target audiences
  • Inform content development and develop creative briefs that seamlessly integrate overall communications efforts with social media tactics, platform tactics, audience insights, and trends
  • Identify whitespace opportunities to elevate strategy &
    define distinct roles for content on each social platform to build brand equity
  • Quickly gather audience insights to inform and support creative concepts and ideas
  • Ability to map content across platforms and collaborate on the development of deliverable lists
  • Analyze and report on social data and optimize strategy based against business objectives
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in building social media programs that develop, engage, and retain audiences
  • Work closely with creative teams to help provide strategic feedback, ensuring that the creatives align seamlessly with the overarching social strategy
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external cross-functioning teams for ongoing social support
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of social trends and happenings, new platforms, and competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and leading social media strategy and execution
  • Proven experience in executing content strategies, developing content plans and social calendars
  • Nimble, quick learner, and adaptable for the ever changing landscape of social and technology
  • Cross functional collaboration including client's internal and external partners
  • In-depth knowledge of the social media environment, formats, trends and up-to-date on relevant cultural events
  • Ability to develop digital ecosystems and find opportunities in emerging and new platforms
  • Strong understanding of how to measure success and which metrics are the valuable ones according to objectives, digital channels, and formats
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams effectively
  • Strategic &
    analytical mindset, capable of handling a project from ideation to completion
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders
