Objective:

Main scope focus on supplier development, provide support during screening, development, qualification &
evaluation of suppliers. Measure and evaluate supplier performance. Support purchasing and the engineering departments on sourcing activities, support qualification and evaluation of alternative components applicable to new, potential, or existing suppliers.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the incoming inspection areas.

• Be accountable of the supplier quality performance KPI's.

• Lead, manage and evaluate SCARs - Supplier Corrective / Preventive Action process for problem resolution and continuous improvement.

• Ensures that all production critical supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner, and corrective actions are effective and implemented.

• Defines, develops, and implements Supply base strategies that drives improvements in supplier selection, development, and leverage across customer programs for quality improvements and cost savings.

• Execute physical and remote audits.

• Ensure compliance of the Spellman counterfeit policy.

• Accountable of QMS portion applicable to supplier management.

• Support as a member of root cause analysis teams as applicable.

• Coordinate and control the Dock to stock program, engineering stock and TPS activities.

• Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.

• Proactively communicate information or issues that may impact the product costs or manufactur.

Competences / abilities:

• Industrial Engineering or related career.

• Experience in the position 3 years.

• Interpretation of drawings.

• Interpretation of material bills.

• Knowledge of IPC.

• Knowledge and use of measuring instruments.

• Knowledge and management of test equipment instruments.

• Ability to work on different tasks/projects at the same time.

• Management of Microsoft.

• Advanced English.
