About the job and it’s activities
About
Plan, organize and control the company's Information Technology activities, satisfying the needs of the areas in terms of SW, HW, Programming, Communication and functionality, in accordance with the business requirements.Guarantee the correct approval and operation of the SAP system for Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico, in accordance with specifications made by the corporate, including global and regional operation and configuration changes.

Responsibilities
1. Guarantee the continuity of the operation.
- Projects resource requirements, including personnel, equipment and facilities with associated costs.
- Defines and monitors compliance with the area's Work Plan to ensure that activities and objectives are carried out in a timely manner, such as:
- Technical support compliance
- Progress of developments
- information security
- Access Control Assessment
- Ensures the stability and updating of the SAP system by approving configuration changes between clients.
- Provide support for the SAP system and guarantee the operation and integrity of information in master data for Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico.
- Analyze, evaluate and select Network, Voice, Data, Mail, Internet services
2. Achieve the Integration of key processes.
- Interaction of business processes, data and systems, between the different areas of the company, (SAP, Nomipaq, CFDs, own developments).
- Guarantee that the issuance of CFDIs complies with what is stipulated by the SAT in the official gazette of the federation.
3. Provide Business Intelligence to support decision making
- Availability of information and reports in the SAP system.
- Provides periodic information to key users. E.G. Income Statements, Summary 110, Sales Performance, Profit Margin, etc.
4. Implement Improvement Projects
- Stay up to date on trends in solutions and infrastructure.
- Evaluate and supervise the selection of suppliers and services. Ex. Perform tests to guarantee the operation of these technologies.
- Prepare the business case by proposal, where it evaluates the cost, return on investment and impact on the business.
- Evaluate and develop solutions, both in SAP and in alternative systems.
5. Manage projects
- Validates the objective and work plan of the project together with the managers involved.
- Coordinates the execution of defined tasks.
- Supervises the development of the project and reports progress to the personnel involved.
- Validates pilot test results to authorize the release of the solution and supervises its implementation.
- Follow up on the work plan to guarantee timely completion of projects.
- Guarantee the functionality of projects and/or corporate changes, as well as the integrity of the information, before being released.
6. Manage area budget.
- Provide short and long range estimated budgets.
- Ensure compliance with the annual budget.
- Reduction of costs in IT solutions.
