The Manager of Compensation and Benefits is responsible for overseeing the payroll, compensation, and benefits of the company. They will also analyze compensation data within an organization and evaluate job positions to determine classification and salary. They will also administer employee benefits and oversee the payroll department.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Oversee the Mexico division for compensations, benefits, and payroll
  • Create, implement, and manage salary classification of compensation programs and benefits
  • Closely collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and HR to help support process improvement and change management
  • Work with the internal/external legal team to ensure company registrations, outsourcing licenses, expat authorizations and other employment requirements are current
  • Administer and manage employee benefits
  • Analyze market surveys, trends, and job descriptions to ensure appropriate compensation across all company
  • Advise on promotions, merit increases, salary adjustments according to company’s policies
  • Advise employees on state and federal employment regulations, benefits and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification programs
  • Developing and implementing compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures, assuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Assure employee records and data are in compliance with current regulations and updated in the HRIS system

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountant, or Engineering
  • 5 plus years of experience as a compensation &
    benefits manager or in a related role

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 plus years of experience as People Leader
  • Teamwork with Mexico &
    U.S. Total Rewards team
  • Adaptable with managing ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Produce reports related to compliance matters for internal stakeholders
  • Experience in managing benefits, payroll, and compensation using our HRIS software
  • Comfort level and experience in working with company executives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Software
