The Catalyst Team is seeking to hire a Jr. IT Support Specialist to join our full-time team as full-time employee.
The Junior IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
The role entails responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
End-User Support :
Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, chat, or email.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users.
Hardware and Software Maintenance :
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Access Management :
Manage user accounts and access control under Microsoft 365 and other software and web-based tools used by the company.
Ensure all workstations have a consistent setup and are compliant with company policies.
Documentation and Training :
Follow up with users to ensure the issue has been resolved.
Assist in development and maintenance IT support documentation and knowledge base.
Guide users through problem-solving processes.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by supervisor or business.

Job specifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, covering both Windows and Mac environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent;
degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
CompTIA A+ or Network+
Microsoft Certified any certificate
IT Security Experience
Knowledge of PowerShell
